City Lights Church wholeheartedly believes that we are created to shine the love of Jesus and share the good news of the Gospel in our community, and throughout the world. We back this up by designating 10% of all tithes that come into the church to go directly to missions. Through both international partnerships and local outreach, we are doing our part to fulfill the great commission and go into all the world. Our partnerships include the following missionaries and organizations:
INTERNATIONAL MISSIONS
Tents of Mercy exists to be an oasis of refuge, supply, healing, equipping, and sending out for Israel’s returning exiles and native-born sons & daughters. They accomplish this through a humanitarian aid center, messianic synagogue, and other programs.
ONE FOR ISRAEL is an initiative of native-born Israelis on the forefront of high-tech media evangelism, proclaiming salvation to Israel, raising up spiritual leaders through ONE FOR ISRAEL’s Bible College and equipping them with the tools they need to transform our communities. Founders Rod & Ellie Hein, ministering in Mozambique since 1981, started Afrika Wa Yesu bible school under a tree in the remote Inhaminga region. They have two Spirit-empowered schools, in Inhaminga and Nacala, with a vocational training school also in Nacala. While soul-winning is their primary purpose, teaching and training Mozambican pastors to reach their own nation is a vital part of this ministry.
Matt & Amy Baldwin are AGWM missionaries, church planting in Cumphon province, Thailand. Chumphon is one of the most unreached provinces in Thailand. With a population of over 500,000, only 1,000 (0.2%) are Christians. The province is predominantly Buddhist (94%) and most have never heard the gospel. In the provinces’ over 730 villages, there are only 25 churches. The Baldwins plant the church in partnership with Thailand Assemblies of God (TAG) through proclaiming the gospel to the never reached, discipling believers, and equipping church leaders.
Stephen Walter is a missionary with Wings International in Southeast Asia. He has been in the mission field since 2017, being primarily based in Bali, Indonesia, but also working in Nepal, India, and Myanmar. The focus of Wings Asia is to reach the children and families working and living on the streets and to guide them to understanding the love of the Father. They have reached hundreds of children through various ministries throughout the island and have seen many of them come to encounter the healing love of Jesus. Their hope is to see these children rise up into leaders and pillars within their communities and to shine the love of Jesus over the rest of this nation."
On April 7, 2022 Stephen married Daniea Susan Natanael. They met in 2019 through a rather awkward setup via their pastor at the time. Since that beautiful day in April, their marriage has been an amazing journey and they are so excited to see where and how God's plan unfolds in their lives."

ADOPTION FUND
We believe that all human life is sacred and created by God in His image and likeness. Human life is of inestimable worth in all its dimensions, including pre-born babies, the aged, the physically or mentally challenged, and every other stage or condition from conception through natural death. We are therefore called to defend, protect, and value all human life. (Psalms 139; Gen. 1:26-31, 2:4-25)
We also believe that we need to do what we can to support those who are actively involved in Adoption as an alternative choice for expectant families who need help. For this reason, we have an adoption fund available to help out the members of our church who are pursuing adoption.
ALMS FUND
We understand that families can find themselves in situations where they need financial support from their church family. We offer an Alms fund for our members to help them through difficult times.
